Day Tank Pump Keeps Generators Humming

APPLICATION: Our Oberdorfer Bronze Rotary Gear pumps are used in several OEM day tank operations. Our pumps transfer fuel from a large storage tank to a small holding tank. This is used for standby emergency generators for hospitals, military installations, communication centers, airports, manufacturing plants, hotels, schools, municipal water and waste water systems, etc. We have pumps for 1 to 23 gallons per minute flow requirements.

Fluid: Diesel fuel, kerosene, heating oil
PSI: Up to 150 psi
Suction: Up to 20 feet
Duty cycle: Continuous or intermittent

SPECIAL NOTES: All of our gear pumps have viton o-rings for better sealing, long-lasting bronze helical gears for noise reduction, stainless steel shafts, weatherproof bronze bodies, NPT or custom ports for easy connection, leakproof lip or mechanical seals suited for various fuels, optional internal relief valve, and a 12 month warranty. Our bronze gear pumps are self-priming and can suction lift up the fuel up to 20 feet under ideal conditions. Our pumps can be close-coupled to NEMA standard electric motors or base-mounted to meet your application needs.   

 

"Filter Cart" Application

APPLICATION: This pump aids in a convenient, portable filtering unit. When positioned next to a machine to be serviced, contaminated fluid is drawn from the machine through filtering elements and stored in a clean tank or drum. When filtering cycle is completed, the filtered liquid is pumped back to the machine. Hours of service time are saved and valuable oils, solvents, and solutions are regenerated saving costs.
